MV-Jäähdytys, Finland’s leading service company in refrigeration technology and commercial kitchens, has acquired Porin Kylmäasennus Oy, further strengthening the Nordic Climate Group’s presence in the Pori region and western Finland. With this acquisition, the Finnish organization now comprises 11 local establishments and over 360 employees.

Porin Kylmäasennus Oy specializes in industrial and comfort cooling, cold storage rooms, as well as installation and maintenance of heat pumps. The company complements MV-Jäähdytys’ existing operations in the region, which have primarily focused on focused on commercial refrigeration for large-scale kitchens and comfort cooling.

Having transitioned strategically from serving private consumers to a B2B focus, Porin Kylmäasennus Oy now derives the majority of its revenue from corporate and public sector clients. The company, with 7 employees, generates an annual turnover of around SEK 15 million and maintains a strong service-oriented business model.
