Nordic Climate Group expands further in Denmark and acquires Combikøl

The addition complements Nordic Climate Group’s earlier acquisitions in the area, and thus strengthens the group’s coverage in northernmost Jylland. Combikøl was established in 2000, and in 2011 joined forces with MT Køleservice, which was founded in 1992. The firm is led by owners Henning Bendtsen and Morten Toft, together with a team of 10 employees. With more than 40 years of experience in service and installation of cooling and freezing systems as well as heat pumps, Combikøl serves large retail chains, light industry, and the marine sector. The company has expertise in natural cooling media and offers solutions focusing on carbon dioxide (CO2) as well as service for ammonia manufacturing.
The deal confirms Nordic Climate Group’s position as Denmark’s largest cooling installation company and the Nordic region’s leader in cooling, heating, and energy solutions. Nordic Climate Group was established in 2021 and turnover now exceeds SEK 5 billion, with more than 2.000 employees working some 100 locations in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and the Netherlands. Upon acquisition of Combikøl, Nordic Climate Group’s Danish organization comprises 13 companies and approximately 260 employees.
A strong local market position is the core of Nordic Climate Group’s operations, and like the other companies in the group, Combikøl will continue to work with its local brand. The previous owners will remain in their current roles and operations will continue as normal, with priority on ensuring quality in customer projects.

Nordic Climate Group began operations in Denmark in May 2023 and a number of Danish companies have joined the group.
